About Mr. Movie
Mr. Movie helps you keep tabs on what's playing in theaters, what's coming soon, and pings you when the ones you missed finally hit streaming. Build a personal watchlist, check things off as you watch, and never lose track of a release again.

What we store
- Account: if you sign in, we store your email address and a unique user ID from your sign-in method (email, Google, or Apple).
- Your watchlist & alerts: the movies you save and mark as watched, so they sync across your devices.
- Notification settings: whether you enabled email or push alerts and, for push alerts, an Apple-issued device token associated with your account.
- Local data: if you don't sign in, your watchlist is stored only on that device. An account is required for streaming alerts.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't run third-party advertising or tracking pixels.
- We don't share your watchlist with anyone.
Third-party services
Movie data is provided by The Movie Database (TMDB) and OMDb. Streaming availability is provided by JustWatch via TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Supabase stores account, watchlist, and notification-setting data. Lovable hosts the web service. Resend delivers requested email alerts, and Apple Push Notification service delivers push alerts to devices where you enable them. These providers receive only the information needed to operate those features.
How we use and retain data
We use account data to authenticate you and sync your list. We use notification settings and device tokens only to deliver alerts you request. Account data is retained while your account remains active. Disabled or invalid push tokens may be retained briefly for delivery troubleshooting and then removed. Delivery records are retained to prevent duplicate alerts.
Your rights
You can delete watchlist items individually at any time. Signed-in users can permanently delete their account and associated data from Account settings in the app. You can also disable either notification channel there at any time. Deleting your account removes your notification settings, registered devices, and delivery records.
